The Poppy Sweater features an allover poppy print, designed in-house at Elk to reference the symbolic meaning of the poppy and its connection to sleep and peace. The tailored design features slimmer, set-in sleeves and a neat neckline, crafted from a variety of yarn knit techniques and textures in a bold, striking finish.
45% Cotton, 35% Viscose, 19% Merino Wool, 1% Metallic
This garment is made from a crafted blend of natural fibres, with the lurex providing a light metallic sheen. The wool, cotton and viscose combine to make a great mid-weight yarn, perfect for trans-seasonal dressing.
Viscose is made from cellulose from timber that has been processed and spun into fine fibres. Elk are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that their forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry.
The Poppy sweater has a neat fit, so Elk recommend taking your usual size. The fit is slimmer through the body and sleeve, but still ideal for layering over a light tank or tunic.
