Namesake
Passionate horticulturalist Elizabeth Isaac propagated a new, variegated lilly pilly (Acmena smithii var. Elizabeth Isaac) with a combination of pink, green and cream-margined leaves. Married to conservationist Cyril Isaac and with seven children, she supported her husband in opening the Flowervale Nursery at Noble Park in Victoria in 1922.
