Care

To protect the environment – airing garments outside can be used instead of every second wash, especially if damp outside.  Handwash in 30°C tepid water with liquid wool soap. place garment flat while drying. use steam iron.

Mansted was created in 2002 with a vision to create knitwear that goes beyond seasons and trends. With fully fashioned marks at the armhole showing that it is knit piece by piece and not cut from a roll of fabric it gives the opportunity to make unique details still at affordable prices whilst assuring that shapes are flattering.

Colours are a speciality with vibrant melange colours in lambswool & cotton, where each fibre has multiple colours, they work as seriously on colour and combinations as on the design of the knitwear piece itself.

Yarns are as pure as you can get, or a mix of pure qualities in cotton, linen/hemp, wool & yak. They strive to have qualities that feel soft to the skin.

The knitwear pieces are linked together, actually knit together, stitching into each stitch. this produces a very flat finish, not bulky, with hardly any seam allowance with many special edges featured.

Natural buttons are mostly real shell, some are transparent with a matt rubber finish.
